A BREAKTHROUGH LOW IMPEDANCE, HIGH OUTPUT MC CARTRIDGE
With the Hayabusa yoke-free moving coil cartridge MUTECH has thoroughly mastered the knowledge in magnetic material and realised a breakthrough low impedance with high output.
When Eiji Kanda originally discussed this technology in the 1970s with Asakura-san the boss of Supex, there were neither magnets that were strong enough nor core materials for the coils that had the desired flux density at such a small size.
“The yokeless ring magnet technology is Kanda’s legacy to his successor, 62-year-old Kajihara-san. Kajihara was introduced to him by Yoshio Matsudaira, head of My Sonic Lab. Kajihara was able to convince Kanda not to let his technology die. This is how the one-man company Kanda became the company called Mutech.”

“I can only marvel at the insights this system gives me, and it clearly reminds me of the Lyra Atlas, which, by the way, is also constructed without a yoke but with a double magnet. Hayabusa and Atlas offer a view of the music like a reflective surface of the sea in glaring sunlight: breathtakingly beautiful and sometimes almost terrifyingly clear”
“I was floored by the rich harmonic palette and vividly three-dimensional picture… It certainly demonstrated both the MuTech RM-Kanda’s harmonic richness and flat full-range response.” – Stereophile.com
“I don’t care how costly or sophisticated a system you have, I don’t think anyone reading this would be less than enthusiastically impressed by hearing the RM-Hayate in their system. It just sounds right and manages to simultaneously hit all of the aural pleasure zones. You can just forget it’s there and let the music speak. All genres.
Usually, I can describe a cartridge’s sonic “personality” as being on the (whatever) side, be it on the warm, or cool, or analytical, or soft or sweet, or rich, or lean or whatever side but I’m at a loss here. So I’ll stop. I hope you get to hear one of these and soon. And especially if you miss your Transfiguration ring magnet based cartridge.” – Michael Fremer

MUTECH RM-KANDA HAYABUSA
Moving Coil Cartridge
DESCRIPTION
Features
Brand New generator developed by Eiji Kanda.
Low impedance High output ( 0.45mV )with placing original Core(SS-μM) into the magnetic material Neodymium.
Removed Yoke, place Core ( SS-μM)into Ring Magnet directly, the magnetic special quality is improved. The magnetic distortion is avoided.
The impedance of the Coil is so small, that an electric current to the voltage becomes high. Finally, the sound stage is made clear.
Original custom-made suspension wire made sound quality highly.
