JAVA Hi-Fi is breathing new life into the specialist high-end audio market, with a range of products to restore the act of music listening to its rightful place, as one of life’s simplest (and greatest) pleasures.
New Zealand-based JAVA Hi-Fi was co-founded in 2016 by Martin Bell and Shane Inder. On the back of a successful Kickstarter campaign, JAVA launched its debut product, the JAVA LDR pre-amplifier. The first production run quickly sold out, having made its way into the homes of audio enthusiasts everywhere from Germany to Japan.
Customer feedback was impressive, with positive words like ‘phenomenal’, ‘gobsmacked’, and ‘addictive’ being used to describe the product.
Since then, the JAVA team has developed two new offerings – an update to the LDR pre-amplifier and a full-function integrated amplifier that combines an LDR pre-amp stage with a GaN FET power amp stage. Pre-production samples of both products were displayed for the first time at High-End Munich 2019.
